We have always stood out for our ability to combine originality and know-how. We create elaborate and original pieces even if this complicates the work in our workshops, increases the cost incurred or delays the manufacturing time. For us, every detail counts, we do not only make clothes: we transmit a message, a vision through each of the pieces in our collections.
This involves, among other things, the mixing of materials, patterns and colours. It is the search for a harmonious balance where each fabric, each shade finds its place to form together a unique and authentic symbiosis. Our designer sometimes develops up to three or four prototypes before arriving at the perfect combination. Some of these models are produced in very limited quantities, this is a deliberate choice on our part to be able to offer our customers rare and exclusive pieces.
This vest is the very expression of this research. Designed from several fabrics from Japan and Ireland, it plays on contrasts and textures. The right and left panels were made using two different fabrics, the first is a plain blue brushed cotton in real Japanese indigo coming directly from Tokushima, where it originates. The other is a nuanced navy wool composed of different weaves: houndstooth, herringbone, and stripe. To perfect the ensemble, we added two flap pockets made from three other fabrics in blue and navy, with different patterns.
It has a chest pocket inside which is an integrated blue and white pouch with bandana print patterns. On the back, there is an ecru cotton fabric with a martingale that you can adjust to your size. This jacket is a limited edition and numbered to 50 copies only.
It is an elegant vest thanks to its impeccable cut, its noble fabrics and its timeless navy blue color but it is also a piece of character with regard to the complexity of its structure and the union of its different fabrics. The subtle mix of blue shades of this patchwork allows for many associations and is easily combined with other pieces.
