The Dandy Vest
Elegance ? All An Art!
This is our new waistcoat with an original cut: the Dandy. It was inspired by double-breasted. It consists of two columns of parallel buttons. It was affixed to the uniforms of the British Navy and allowed better protection against the wind.
It was very popular in the 1930s and 1950s and as you know, as fashion is always starting over, it's a trend that has come back to the fore lately.
But why did we call it that ? Dandyism is a current of fashion and thought born in England, at the end of the 18th century, which corresponds to a way of being and of dressing that aims to be elegant and original. A dandy is a man who has a certain look; sought after and atypical. With its double-breasted buttoning, we couldn't have imagined any other name for this refined model.

It is a totally reversible vest, which offers two looks in one piece: super chic and sporty.
We also created it in One to One; our concept of up-cycling in which we reuse clothes found in the 4 corners of the world.
