The Military Patchwork Blazer

Inspired by the unique One to One Kaki Militaire concept

A few years ago, our designer created a military patchwork to make a blazer. He wore it regularly and it did not go unnoticed...

Many customers fell in love with this model and wanted to own this unique piece. So we offered it thanks to the One to One concept for which we use vintage military fabrics from the 4 corners of the world. It is an exclusive and excessive piece because it requires the use of vintage fabrics from several historical military garments.

So, we thought of a more affordable and accessible idea for everyone and so we recreated this exceptional patchwork. We also added inserts with special zigzag stitching to bring even more originality and authenticity to the model.

It is currently available in a limited number of copies; only around twenty, because the construction of this patchwork piece requires long, precise and meticulous work.

To build this patchwork, we assembled several pieces of natural cotton fabrics. The weaving and therefore the patterns are different. We find among others, the chevron, the HBT, the canvas, the ripstop, the twill, which are the authentic fabrics used by the army. It is this particular association that will bring even more originality and relief to this canvas.

After assembling the different fabrics, we proceeded to cut out the patterns before assembling the blazer. And it was after constructing this garment, in ready-to-dye patchwork (i.e. an unbleached natural fabric) that we asked our partner factory to dye the pieces. This is a special process that we developed together, so that the fabric is also washed and stoned to give it a vintage and bleached look at the seams.

Also, the natural khaki pigments that penetrated the fabric reacted differently depending on the weave of the fabric and its original color.

This 100% cotton blazer is therefore easy to maintain since it can be machine washed.

You will notice that each blazer is a unique piece because none of the patchworks are similar.

“The Authentic is not worn, it is lived.”
