In 1940, the newspaper bag was used by American newspaper carriers. It replaced the traditional leather bag because it was much lighter and more practical. The newspaper bag was much more functional, it filled up infinitely. It is a cotton bag, open, without pockets, with a long and wide handle that allows it to be worn on the shoulder, across the body or to be positioned on the handlebars of delivery people's bicycles.
However you wear it, it won't hurt your back. The young distributing boys could therefore put their newspapers and parcels there and access them easily and quickly. Paradoxically but ingeniously, it took up very little space but could nevertheless contain a whole lot of things.
