Two years ago, we launched our upcycling concept; One to One, which consists of constructing a new piece (vest or blazer) from iconic vintage clothing such as overalls, shibori fabrics or military clothing.
Many of you have trusted us by ordering their original and unique piece. Today and after many clothes made, our pile of vintage finds planned in the development of this project is coming to an end. We will therefore be able to honor the next few orders and then it will be over...
The rarity of these historic fabrics
Our concept took on its full meaning thanks to these second-hand pieces, they are the very essence of this project. Hunting and unearthing these treasures is not easy when you are looking for clothes that have a history and whose impeccable quality has stood the test of time. We therefore hope that this is not a definitive end, however today, we cannot guarantee that it will see the light of day again given the uncertainty and difficulty of being able to obtain these rare fabrics.
Each vintage garment is unique just like each piece we create from its fabric. We seek originality, meticulous work on fabrics and responsible and respectful production management. We have always favored quality over quantity.
Thus, choosing a One to One piece means wanting to create a link between the past and the present. It’s reviving a fabric that has a past, a history to give it a second life.
