The Particularity of our New Creation

Have you discovered the specificity of this vest ?

We constantly talk to you about the vest, our emblematic piece, did you know that a vest is a sleeveless blazer? In Europe, as in the United States, the blazer is worn with the middle button attached, unlike Japan, where it is the first button that is tied. This gives a more open effect to the blazer and therefore a more casual style. It is this detail that inspired us to create this vest model. Our desire was therefore to give a less strict and less classic look to our flagship garment.

To do this, our designer had the idea of creating a small tab that we positioned at the level of the second button. The vest can therefore be worn in 3 different ways: - with the tab attached for an open, more casual and informal effect. - in the traditional way, by tying the buttons and leaving the tab visible or by camouflaging it.

We cannot claim to have invented the vest, but our work is unique and our pieces are accomplished. This time we have brought something new and that is why we have trademarked this model.

The Jungle vest is completely reversible, with one fanciful side and the other more classic. The three fabrics that make it up were made using indigo-dyed cotton thread.

After assembly, the garment underwent a bleach and stone wash treatment. It is a washing process that is specific to us, allowing us to obtain light, summery colors and to have lighter fabrics with a vintage appearance, particularly at the seams which have been bleached.

The Patchwork Denim

This is the daring and eccentric side of this model. This is a particular weaving which gives the appearance of a patchwork in denim thread with different weaving reliefs, therefore various patterns. Its originality is characterized by its thousand and one shades of indigo, cleverly juxtaposed. The result is unique.

The Indigo Stripe

This second side was made from a cotton fabric with indigo stripes, better known as "tiking stripes". This is a pattern that was once found on mattresses which were wrapped in a fabric, ticking, which was very strong and robust to resist friction.

With this vest, you can choose to have a sober or more surprising look. And if, however, you don't like the tab that we have imagined, you can easily remove it by unstitching it since it is an integral element of this model.

“True novelty is always born in returning to the sources.”
