Why wear seersucker this summer ?

If the term "seersucker" is unknown to you, that of "embossed fabric" will surely speak to you more and if this is still not the case, take the time to discover these few lines... Today we are talking to you about this fabric which has a wavy appearance, light and very pleasant to wear. It’s the perfect summer fabric !

Its embossed appearance is obtained thanks to its weaving which is made by alternating tight threads and looser threads, this will then create relief to the canvas. It is this process which will allow air to pass through and guarantee a breathable fabric. It does not stick to the skin and is pleasant to the touch.

It was born in India at the beginning of the 17th century and was quickly adopted by the English who wore it during their travels to warmer countries.

Seersucker was a reference in the preppy style of the 1950s. It was a real success and this craze is back today since it is in high demand.

Generally made of cotton, it is easy to maintain since it can be washed at 30° and there is no need to iron it to keep its embossed appearance.

We made several pieces in this seersucker fabric that we chose with blue and white stripes.

There's our Slack Blazer, the Short Sleeve Shirt and our new model, the Cool Pants 2. These are chic yet comfortable pleated pants with a relaxed, flowy fit.

Which seersucker garment will you fall for ?
