A Precious Blend of Style and Comfort
A few weeks ago, we presented our new orange and khaki hoodies, with prints referencing the world of surfing. We tell you the history of this sport in the American Army during the Vietnam War.
Obviously, we draw our inspiration from history, but also from the immensity of the ocean. Our house was born in Biarritz and the Place de l'Ocean plays a major role in the atmosphere and sensitivity of the city and its inhabitants. It is for us a source of daily inspiration and this is what particularly influenced our choice of the colors of our new sweatshirts which we naturally wanted ecru and blue.
It was in Morocco that we shot our muses and friends; Pierre, Jules and Hugo. Originally from Biarritz, this group of friends have always been immersed in surfing. So we found them for a photo session in Morocco. We had the chance to go to the famous surf spot of Imsouane, a few days before it was deliberately destroyed... The waves will indeed continue to form and wash up on this coastal village but its charm and authenticity have been forever withdrawn.
Thus, the ecru and blue colors of our sweatshirts are directly linked to the essence and depth of an infinite, mysterious but peaceful sea.
These are 100% cotton sweatshirts. They have been tinted using pigments of natural origin and washed to give them a more vintage style. The interior has an authentic weave similar to the first university sweatshirts in history.
Sweatshirts have long been associated with sports, but they are a versatile piece of clothing. It can be worn for different occasions, after your sports session for example but also in a more elegant way, over a jacket or blazer, "university style". The opposition between a casual piece and a more chic garment creates real originality.
Style cannot escape comfort.
