Something to wake up your taste buds
The Basque region has nothing to prove other than the quality of its local gastronomy. Like us, you will succumb to the many local delicacies such as ham, cheese or even the famous grilled cuisine. It is in fact at La Plancha d'Ilbarritz restaurant that you can taste the best meat and fish in the city, with your feet in the sand and facing the sea !
A walk in the city center
The best way to discover a city is to get lost in it. So we advise you to take a walk in the small streets of this pretty town centre. You will discover its secrets there. Don't hesitate to take a trip to the Les Halles market, you won't come out empty-handed ! Our two shops are not far from there, in rue Gambetta.
The most beautiful beaches
It is in Biarritz, in front of the Atlantic Ocean, that you can enjoy the magnificent beaches of France; tanning, swimming and idleness guaranteed, not to mention the unmissable surf session ! The two most beautiful are those of the Côte des Basques and that of Ilbiarritz.. but be careful, these are ephemeral beaches, so check the tide calendar carefully.
A sweet break ?
It's obvious that delicacies can be enjoyed at Maison Adam. Their macaroons are to die for! They also offer the famous Basque cake or delicious chocolates. Their know-how has been perpetuated since 1660 and it's not for nothing !
Finally, if you want an ice cream, there is only one address to remember in the Halles district, that of Maison Dezamy !
L'Hôtel du Palais
You will not be able to miss it by its magnificence. Its architecture ranks it among the most beautiful historical monuments in France. It was the former imperial residence of Napoleon III and his Andalusian wife. It will then become a hotel-casino before becoming a hotel in its own right. It welcomes an international clientele and many personalities.

Guétary is an authentic village typical of Basque culture. Then comes San Sebastian, where you can stroll through the old town and eat at Ganbara restaurant and have a drink at Bar Nestor. A few kilometers further on comes the village of Getaria, it's a real change of scenery. Here you can visit the Balenciaga Museum or taste the best grilled fish in the region in Elkano.
