The blazer first appeared in 1837, when the captain of the Royal Navy ship "HMS BLAZER" dressed his crew in navy blue double-breasted jackets with copper buttons, on the occasion of the visit of Queen Victoria.
We made this one in a tartan fabric.
This is a pattern originating from Scotland, the black watch. It's made up of vertical and horizontal colored lines that intersect to form squares. Its first representation was found on an earthen pot from the 3rd century. It will be used as a pattern on textiles only from the 17th century.
At the time, it was a national symbol that was also associated with royalty. The famous kilts are themselves made with tartan wool fabrics.
This tartan blazer is made from Irish linen.
Its fabric is thin and it has no lining (except at the level of the sleeves to be able to put it on more easily).
It has an integrated plain bleached chambray pocket. This same fabric is also lined on the reverse of the collar.
Its cut is fitted, it has three patch pockets and two inside pockets.
Its cut gives it real elegance and the tartan pattern brings originality to the blazer.
It's a timeless piece that won't leave anyone indifferent and will have its effect wherever you go.
