HISTORY

The Jungle Jacket is one of the iconic military jackets. This was worn from 1963 by American soldiers during the Vietnam War. It was particularly adapted to the climatic conditions of Asia.

This model has been redesigned, modified and perfected several times, depending on the needs of the soldiers and the flaws observed. It existed in 3 versions.

The first had shoulder pads and the pocket buttons were visible. The second version camouflages these buttons with a lining and the cotton poplin fabric becomes thicker. Type 3 is the one that inspired the field jacket that we present to you.

QUALITY

The third version therefore appeared in 1969. What has changed ? Its fabric. This one is in Ripstop cotton. It is a weaving that incorporates a nylon thread, which will prevent any propagation of a possible tear. Literally, "Ripstop" means "stop the tear".

It is a grid-like fabric.

It has 4 large bellows pockets, two on the hips and two on the chest which are angled for easier access.

Historically, it's a jacket that was quite wide. We decided to rethink the cut based on that of the blazer. Thus, it is now fitted and has an impeccable fall.

STYLE

This jacket is at the same time practical, solid and aesthetic. This is why she has survived the years.

We've integrated military-inspired patches for a more pronounced and original style. However, if you don't like it, if you want to change them or add more, it is quite possible!

Personalize and customize the jungle jacket as you wish.
