The idea for this project came from the hesitation of our customers, who when buying our vests often couldn't choose between a classic and a fancy one.
We then worked for a long time in our workshop, in Portugal, to offer you a 100% reversible vest.
So you will be able to lighten your luggage during your travels with two looks in one piece.
One side is tartan fabric. This is a pattern originating from Scotland. It is made up of vertical and horizontal colored lines that intersect to form squares.
Its first representation was found on an earthen pot from the 3rd century. It will be used as a pattern on textiles only from the 17th century. At the time, it was a national symbol that was also associated with royalty.
The famous kilts are themselves made with tartan wool fabrics.
This reversible vest has a patchwork side of soft and light cotton flannel. It has a tartan pattern in red and blue tones and with an ecru background. Its buttons are in brown natural corozo.
The second side is a very thick 100% Japanese cotton denim fabric, which keeps you warm. It is dyed with indigo. It has been stone-washed, which means that it has been faded to give it a more original and vintage look. Its buttons are corozo, dark brown.
On both sides, its back is white and 100% cotton, with a martingale to tighten the vest and 3 patch pockets (without flap).
Thanks to one original and colorful side and the other more sober, you can easily match this cardigan according to your events and the rest of your outfit!
